Yes, I'm still alive
OK, now that everyone knows we're still here and I've not totally forgotten about this site, let me explain my long absence. Our computer started to go out sometime around Halloween, so I had not downloaded any new pictures. It finally crashed and we ordered a new one, which took about 3 weeks to arrive. So we got a new computer before Christmas, but because of how the old one crashed, I've not taken the time to transfer all pictures over to the new computer yet. I did have most, if not all, backed up; but I know it will take FOREVER to weed through all the files from our old computer (pictures, documents, music files, you name it) and I've been terribly procrastinating the process. I have LOTS of updates to make. I never did finish my Europe postings with pictures from Paris, so if you want to see some of them (and we do have some amazing photos), email me and I'll send you some of them. We had Halloween with Darth Vader and Buzz Lightyear, Ben turned 2 years old, and we had Christmas. So eventually you'll get one more giant posting with updates from the last 4 months. I just can't make myself take the time to do it. The prolonging of the inevitable is worse the actual process I'm sure. First my excuse was focusing on Ben's birthday, then the holidays. Now my excuse is applying to school for Luke (we're hoping to send him to Covenant Classical School, a private Christian school here in Fort Worth) and trying to pick up some extra work to help pay for it. So I promise I will eventually catch up. And I sincerely hope and plan to catch up before Luke's 5th birthday in March. So, if any of you still check here (and I wouldn't blame you if you didn't due to how long it's been), stay posted. More to come!!!!! (sometime.....)

Hey Valisa!
ReplyDeleteWe have a wonderful classical school here. We were going to send our kids - currently they are not, but the option is there for us. I am praying about it - the $$$$ was the kicker for us. So understand the need to pick up extra hours. Celeste teaches or taught for a classical school in Albuquerque.
